OUR MISSION: Create simple and authentic community gatherings for the adventurous spirit, concentrating on the quality of the experience over the quantity of attendees. We partner with the resort, the community, and local businesses to build an event curated by all.
WWG is an experience like nowhere else in the world, we build a community at the base of iconic ski towns. We have indoor stages in huge decorated heated tents, an outside main stage, a kids zone, VIP lounge, coffee bar, food trucks, cocktail bars, beer tastings and more. Let WinterWonderGrass recycle, reclaim and replenish our adventure seeking spirits!
MUSIC & BEER! Bringing together the best in bluegrass, jamgrass and roots music. Regardless of the label, our artists’ jam when the lights go out, join other performers on stage and stick around for the weekend!
There is nothing better than the freedom to explore new landscapes, new communities and new friendships. There’s magic that happens when women, men and kids from around the world gather for the alchemy of music and mountains.
WWG aligns partners, artists, and communities that share our passion for the outdoors and dedication to providing the best, healthiest and most energized experiences.
Kids 12 and under are free! We love our kids, and yours. We value the opportunity to create a festival that teaches the next generation about responsibility, community, humility, love and how to have fun in the outdoors.
We are not about any one band, any one person – we are a collection of community-minded artists, brewers, snow riders and environmentalists focused on creating a pallet where all can explore, connect and thrive.
Waste-Free Earth is a full-service sustainability consulting company within the special events industry, primarily music festivals. They specialize in onsite sustainability coordination and consulting strategies to integrate more comprehensive sustainability programs at events that leave attendees feeling inspired. Waste-Free Earth has proudly been leading the sustainability efforts at WinterWonderGrass for the past five years, saving tens of thousands of pounds from ever entering the landfill.
Over the past five years, WinterWonderGrass has proudly held an average diversion rate of 85%. Meaning 85% of the waste produced at the event is diverted away from landfills and into composting, recycling and donation initiatives.
Since 2016, WinterWonderGrass has been single-use plastic free. We proudly require all food vendors and bars to serve only on 100% compostable products.
Brings a dedicated team of environmentalists to educate the attendees on what is compostable, recyclable and landfill items, inspires the younger generation to take action, and keeps the festival grounds and surrounding community immaculate.
Thanks to you, we have donated to local environmental groups, youth educational programs, local and global humanitarian causes.
